Relationship / Couples
Entering relationship therapy is perhaps one of the most important steps toward experiencing the intimacy and connection you deserve. I work with various types of relationships (i.e. couples, siblings, families). Together, we will begin to look at what is causing your relationship difficulty. I believe my central role is to help you to understand, express , and communicate more authentically. The quality of connection you experience can weaken for various reasons. Too often we withdraw or push away those we love most. A core component to satisfying relationships is the capacity to repair.
Repair is defined as:
1. To restore to sound condition after damage
2. To set right; remedy: repair an oversight
3. To make up for or compensate for (i.e. a loss)
4. To renew or revitalize
Through voicing your thoughts, feelings, hopes and fears, an opportunity for understanding yourself and your loved ones is experienced. Through this work, repair is possible--often creating space for deeper intimacy.
